This last weekend was filled with lots of tough physical activity and cycling......It all started with a bike trip on the Katy trail (130miles) to Jeff City (more on that coming Thurs.), was followed up by a 1/2 Marathon Sunday morning and VIP treatment for the final stage of the Tour of Missouri Sunday afternoon, where the worlds best cyclist, including many Tour De France riders, completed a 600mile race across the State of Missouri..............

Sunday Morning was the Lewis & Clark 1/2 Marathon.....It also just happened to be right in the middle of Hurricane IKE--5 inches of rain in just a couple hours and I ran right through it all.....Lots of fun, very, very wet & windy!!

At the race we were treated like stars in the VIP tent right at the finish line....Following the race we caught many of the racers heading back to their team bus's--These are the "Stars" of cycling and all of them were very gracious and friendly......
